Joyce Tseng is an award-winning violist and expert violin and viola teacher offering lessons in Boston and online. With 10+ years of experience teaching ages 4–60, she holds BM and MM degrees from the Eastman School of Music, where she is currently a DMA candidate and former Teaching Assistant.

A board member of the American Viola Society, Joyce’s performance highlights include the Rochester Philharmonic and Macao Orchestra, alongside multiple AVS competition prizes. She helps students master technical proficiency and artistic command. From foundational setup to advanced artistry, she provides evidence-based instruction for musicians worldwide.
